Children living in Gaza do not have any of the rights enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. At least 15,700 of the 38,098 people who died in Gaza were children, excluding nearly 4,000 children trapped under rubble, whose bodies could not even be recovered. In fact, the number of children killed by Israel in Gaza between October 7 and February 29 was more than the total number of children killed in wars worldwide in the last four years.
