The Presidency of Communications is organizing an exhibition titled "Bulletproof Dreams: Gaza Child Painters" for the 266 works entrusted by the children of Gaza.
The exhibition will feature 266 artworks and will be open to visitors.
The Directorate of Communications invites citizens to the exhibition event, which will take place on December 29 at 16:00 in Taksim Square.
Journalist and activist Abdullah Aytekin took on the responsibility of distributing paper, pencils, and paint supplies to schools in the region, inspired by the pictures of Mona, a Palestinian girl who lost 26 members of her family in the 2008 lead operation carried out by Zionist Israel.
His goal was to enable children to document their lives in Gaza and what they witnessed on paper, as well as to document this testimony.
Since 2008, these pictures, under Aytekin's patronage, are being exhibited to visitors in the "Bulletproof Dreams: Gaza Painters Exhibition".
