Most recently, Mohamed Hadid, the father of Gigi and Bella Hadid, recounted the oppression inflicted by Israel. 'On that day, my grandfathers and everyone else took in two Jewish families each. My father also brought two Jewish families home. They lived with us for a total of 2.5 years. While my mother was pregnant with me, she had gone to Nasira to visit her family.' 'After I was born, when I was just 9 days old, she went to Safed with me and was left stranded at the door. That family did not allow my mother into their home, not even to get a blanket for me.'
