The genocidal Israeli army has left significant destruction in the northern West Bank city of Jenin and its camp after 10 days of ongoing occupation and raids.
According to a report by the Palestinian official news agency WAFA, Israeli occupying forces caused numerous deaths and injuries with their attacks, leaving substantial destruction in Jenin city and its camp after 10 days of severe and continuous assaults.
Residents of Jenin expressed concerns that, as in many previous instances, Israeli forces might return to attack the city and the camp again after establishing military checkpoints around the area.
Israeli forces inflicted extensive damage on main roads in Jenin city, the refugee camp, and neighborhoods to the east of the city. Israeli construction machinery caused severe destruction in these areas, cutting off water, electricity, and communication lines.
On August 28, Israel announced the start of its most intense and comprehensive attacks since the Second Intifada in 2002, named "Summer Camps," targeting refugee camps in Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since August 28, 21 Palestinians, including children and the elderly, have died in Jenin, 8 in Tubas, 7 in Tulkarm, and 3 in Hebron, totaling 39 deaths and 145 injuries.
