Start of ‘humanitarian pause’ in Gaza to be announced within 24 hours: Qatar

Qatar, along with Egypt and the United States, has successfully mediated a four-day humanitarian pause between Israel and Hamas. The announcement, expected in the next 24 hours, involves the exchange of 50 civilian women and children hostages in Gaza for Palestinian women and children held in Israeli prisons. Humanitarian aid, including fuel, will be permitted into the Gaza Strip.
