The Sphere, known for being the world's largest spherical structure, with the largest LED screen on its exterior, was recently illuminated for the first time in Las Vegas, with an official "Hello, World" message.
In addition, the structure was illuminated with various figures such as a world map, basketball, and symbols of Halloween like a pumpkin.
Construction of the Sphere, which was announced by the Madison Square Garden Company in 2018, began the following year.
The Sphere, built with a $2.3 billion investment, has a seating capacity of 18,600 people.
The structure, which stands at a height of 111 meters and has a width of 157 meters, offers viewers animations adorned with 1.2 million LED lights on its massive fully programmable display, spanning an area of 580,000 square meters.
The structure, known as the "Exosphère," is breaking records with its massive LED screen.
The ongoing construction of the complex will be completed to host live entertainment and concerts, showcasing a wide variety of visual content on its exterior.
MSG Sphere will open with a concert by the Irish rock band U2 on September 29th. The tickets for the concert have already sold out.
