A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck off the coast of central Chile on Sunday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake occurred at 2134GMT and was centered around 33 kilometers (20 miles) northwest of the port city of Valparaiso, the USGS said.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 25 kilometers (15.5 miles).
There were no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage following the tremor.
