English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Nelson Semedo.
"I'm very excited to be here. It's a very good team. To play in the Premier League is a dream from me too. So, I'm very excited to begin, to meet my teammates and start training," Semedo. 26, said on the Wolves' website.
"They can expect a modern right-back, who likes to attack. I can bring the team pace, speed. I like to go forward and come back. They can expect a lot of work and a lot of ambition," he added.
Semedo's contract will keep him at Molineux until June 2023, with an option to extend it to June 2025, the club said in a statement.
Barcelona said on its website that the English side would pay $35 million, plus $11 million more in variables to the Spanish club.
Semedo helped Barca claim two La Liga titles while scoring two goals and 11 assists in 124 games.
