FNSS, one of the Turkish defense industry's global brands in military land vehicles, will exhibit at the fair the vehicles recently added to the inventory of the security forces, along with their new capabilities.
The ALKA-KAPLAN HYBRID Directed Energy Weapon System (DEWS) Platform, jointly developed by ROKETSAN and FNSS and first unveiled at the IDEF 2025 fair last year, will be presented at SAHA 2026 with additional capabilities gained since then.
The platform, created by combining ROKETSAN's ALKA Directed Energy Weapon System and FNSS's KAPLAN Hybrid Carrier Platform, integrates ALKA, which has the ability to detect and destroy fixed- and rotary-wing mini/micro unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and loitering munitions.
The diesel generator unit that supplies the electrical power required for the electric drive system was designed by FNSS and integrated into the vehicle. The diesel generator produces the needed electricity by operating in its most efficient speed-torque range. With this high-kilowatt power unit, the vehicle's mobility requirements are met while also providing the high-voltage electrical power needed by next-generation weapons such as ALKA, without the need to carry an additional power unit.
